Advantages
Every layer of the CleanBamboo lyocell weave is built to solve a specific sleep problem — heat, allergens, rough fabric — instead of just looking good on a shelf. Here’s what changes once these sheets replace the ones you’re using now.
Soft Touch
Fabric that holds its softness through fifty washes just as well as it did on night one, settling in deeper with every wash instead of wearing thin the way cheaper cotton tends to over time.
Breathable Fit
Every thread lets air pass straight through the weave, keeping nights cool instead of clammy, even in warmer weather, under heavier blankets, or the kind of summer nights that ruin regular sheets.
Stays Cool
Bamboo lyocell fibers pull moisture away from skin instead of trapping it, so heat doesn’t build up under the covers. You fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer without flipping the pillow at 3am.
Choose Your Bamboo Sheets
Pick the weave, color, and size that match how you sleep — every set is cut from the same certified bamboo lyocell, so the only thing that changes is the fit. Free returns within 60 nights if it’s not the right one.

Slate Grey Pillowcase Set
Woven from 100% organic lyocell in a cooling sateen finish with a clean envelope closure, this OEKO-TEX certified pair stays gentle on sensitive skin and cool through warm nights.

Features
Every design choice in this lineup comes from the same fabric problem it’s solving — heat, allergens, or wear that regular cotton can’t handle. Here’s what stays consistent across every set, color, and size.
Bamboo Lyocell Fabric
Every sheet is woven from 100% CleanBamboo lyocell fiber, not a cotton or viscose blend. The fabric runs at 120gsm and is processed through a closed-loop system that recovers and reuses water rather than discharging it.

OEKO-TEX Certification
The fabric holds STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX certification (SH065 176027 TESTEX), which tests for harmful substances at every stage of production. This certification is renewed and verified independently, not self-issued by the brand.
Sateen Weave Construction
The fabric uses a sateen weave, which lays more fiber on the surface than a plain weave does. This produces a smooth, lustrous face side at a 300-thread density.

About brand
Ettitude started in 2014, after founder Phoebe Yu went looking for bedding that was both sustainable and soft while furnishing a new home in Melbourne, Australia, and came up empty. She had moved to the city in 2012 and found the local bedding selection disappointing, unable to locate fabrics that were both environmentally sound and reasonably priced. That gap became the starting point for the company: rather than settle for an existing option, Yu spent years testing raw materials, weaving methods, and dyeing processes to build something that didn’t exist yet in bedding.
She developed the idea alongside co-founder Kat Dey, drawing on years of combined work in textiles and a shared interest in sustainability. The result was CleanBamboo, a bamboo lyocell fabric processed through a closed-loop system that recovers and reuses the water and solvents used in production instead of discharging them. The motivation behind the fabric came from a specific number Yu kept running into: textiles rank as the second most polluting industry worldwide and account for roughly 10 percent of global CO2 emissions. Bamboo lyocell was built as a cleaner alternative to the viscose, cotton, and other processes that dominate the fabric supply chain.
The company reached the US market by 2017 and grew its revenue tenfold from its first year of sales, later opening an office in Los Angeles as demand expanded. By 2021, Ettitude had earned Climate Neutral certification, and in April 2022 it became a certified B Corp — two independent benchmarks that measure a company’s environmental footprint and overall accountability rather than accepting its own claims at face value. The fabric itself carries STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX certification, meaning every batch is tested for harmful substances before it reaches a customer’s bed.
What started as one person’s frustration with a limited bedding aisle turned into a fabric platform used across sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases, and sleepwear — all built on the same bamboo lyocell base and the same closed-loop production behind it.

What peoples say about us
Every set gets tested for months before anyone signs off on it — here’s what actual sleepers noticed once the sheets settled in.

Denise Alvarez, 45
Customer
“My skin gets irritated by almost every fabric except cotton, but these bamboo sheets never bothered me once since I started using them. I sleep the whole night without waking up itchy, and the color still looks new after weekly washes.”

Patricia Lowe, 61
Customer
I was skeptical about spending this much on sheets at my age, but the fit on my deep pillow-top mattress is perfect and the corners never pop loose overnight. They’ve held up through months of washing without a single sign of pilling.”

Megan Fischer, 34
Customer
“Between two kids and nonstop laundry, I needed sheets that could take a real beating without falling apart. These have gone through the wash weekly for three months straight and still feel silky, not worn down like the cotton set we had before.”
FAQ
These sheets are woven from 100% bamboo lyocell, not cotton or a cotton blend. The fiber is processed through a closed-loop system that recovers and reuses the water and solvents involved, then finished as a 300-thread sateen weave that behaves closer to cotton at 1,000 threads.
The fabric is hypoallergenic by construction, since the tight lyocell weave resists dust mites and irritants that cotton fibers tend to hold onto. It also carries STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX certification, meaning an independent lab tests it for harmful substances before it ships, not just a claim on the label.
Most people notice a difference in temperature within the first week, but the full test window is 60 nights. That’s long enough to run them through a few wash cycles and see how the fabric holds up, not just how it feels out of the package.
No — the lyocell fiber is processed with food-grade, non-toxic solvents in a closed-loop system, with no chemical finish applied afterward. STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX certification backs this up with independent lab testing at every production stage, not a self-reported claim.
The sateen weave is built to resist pilling, and the fabric tends to soften with each wash instead of thinning out or turning rough. Real buyers who’ve run them through months of weekly washing report the shine fading slightly while the softness actually improves.
Cotton breathes less and tends to trap heat overnight, especially at lower thread counts, while this bamboo lyocell weave pulls moisture away from skin as you sleep. The trade-off is that cotton is more widely available at every price point, so if temperature isn’t your main issue, cotton may be the simpler choice.
Orders ship within the US and typically arrive in 4 to 7 business days, which includes 1 to 2 days of processing before it leaves the warehouse. You’ll get a tracking number as soon as the order ships, so you’re not left guessing on delivery day.
Unopened, unwashed sheets qualify for a full refund with no questions asked. If they’ve been used or washed, you’re still covered under the 60-night trial, though standard returns outside that window carry a $10 processing fee to cover return shipping.
